Breakfast at the Swallows



A mother Barn Swallow feeds the little ones while I attempt exposure with and without flash. The nest was built on top of the barns light fixture (white), with the nest itself up under the eave (dark), which made it hard to find a middle ground for the best exposure. This was tough to do without scaring all concerned. This was the first time I'd had an opportunity like this, so I found it a little difficult to focus on what I was trying to do.
